Developers & agents

Built to be read by people and machines.

Seamline has not publicly launched yet, but early creators can already sign up and build. These docs cover what is shipped today.

Every Seamline hub is a public, structured surface. Embed a capture form on any site, read a creator’s world as JSON, or discover the platform programmatically. Creator-owned audiences, visible consent, and no subscriber PII in AI.

Capability and version contract

Public read-only discovery. Account access and delegated writes are unavailable; a human session is not an agent grant. Contract: seamline-public-discovery/v1.

  • public profile

    seamline-public-hub/v2

    public read · free, spark, studio, collective

    Published name, bio and live or coming-soon projects. Missing or private content is absent; source failure is unavailable.

  • hub summary

    seamline-public-hub/v2

    public read · free, spark, studio, collective

    Plain text from the same public profile projection. No subscriber identities, voice settings or audience counts.

  • public event

    schema.org/Event

    public read · free, spark, studio, collective

    Unlisted and protected events are excluded from discovery. Guest records and RSVP operations are outside the agent contract.

  • platform statistics

    analytica-feed-v1

    public read · free, spark, studio, collective

    Privacy-banded aggregates; small cohorts are suppressed. Unavailable or stale is not a count of zero.

  • magnet drafts

    No public API version

    human required · free, spark, studio, collective

    Creator-approved content guides drafts. Server-side monthly quota applies; generation is not a public agent endpoint.

  • welcome delivery

    No public API version

    human required · spark, studio, collective

    Reviewed sequences need current verified sender readiness and applicable consent. Provider acceptance does not prove inbox delivery.

  • creator promotion

    No public API version

    human required · spark, studio, collective

    Creator-controlled cross-promotion; subscriber lists are not swapped or transferred.

  • delegated account access

    No public API version

    unavailable · Unavailable on every plan

    Requires a separately supported Obelisk identity grant, explicit scope and action authorization. No agent mutation endpoint is advertised.

Plan eligibility is checked by the server. It does not establish service readiness or grant an agent access.

  • free: $0/month, 1 AI magnets/month, 3 projects.
  • spark: $12/month, 5 AI magnets/month, 10 projects.
  • studio: $29/month, 25 AI magnets/month, 50 projects.
  • collective: $79/month, unlimited AI magnets/month, unlimited projects.

Embed a capture form

One script tag on any page. It renders a consent-forward form, attributes the capture to its source, and posts to the creator’s own list.

<script
  src="https://seamline.now/capture.js"
  crossorigin="anonymous"
  data-handle="your-handle"
  data-magnet="your-magnet-id"
  defer
></script>

The subresource-integrity manifest could not be read, so no integrity attribute is shown. That is an absent value, not an optional one — check public/capture.sri.json before embedding.

Machine-readable surfaces

Per-hub endpoints

Public discovery is read-only. The profile and plain-text guide derive from the published hub view. Neither includes subscriber identity, private drafts, voice settings or audience counts.

EndpointReturns
/@{handle}/persona.jsonVersioned public hub profile: canonical ID, update time, visible bio and projects only.
/@{handle}/manifest.jsonWeb app manifest for the hub, themed to the creator.
/@{handle}/badge.svgAn SVG badge a creator can embed anywhere.
/api/hub-card/{handle}Card-shaped hub summary for previews and directories.
/@{handle}/llms.txtPlain-text public hub summary; missing content and source failure are distinct.

Read one public profile

Request GET /@demo/persona.json for the fictional sample. A real published hub uses the same seamline-public-hub/v2 shape. The canonical URL is the stable hub ID; project IDs follow published slugs. A missing handle returns 404 with not_found. A temporary source failure returns 503 with temporarily_unavailable and a retry delay. Never infer hidden content from a missing profile.

Missing or unpublished profile

GET /@missing-example/persona.json
HTTP 404

{
  "code": "not_found",
  "retryable": false
}

Do not enumerate handles or infer hidden content. Ask the creator for their published URL.

Temporary source failure

GET /@example/persona.json
HTTP 503
Retry-After: 60
Cache-Control: no-store

{
  "code": "temporarily_unavailable",
  "retryable": true
}

Respect Retry-After and use bounded retries. Keep the previous result labelled stale; do not substitute an empty profile or zero counts.

Account access and delegated agent writes are unavailable. A separate supported Obelisk identity grant, explicit scope and human authorization are required before such access can be offered. Do not reuse a creator session token as an agent grant.

Recover from a blocked task

A recorded capture is not delivery confirmation. Review the specific hold rather than retrying an uncertain send.

What we will not expose

No endpoint on this page returns subscriber emails, names, or any identifying lead data, and none of it is ever sent to a model. AI uses creator-approved content and voice settings, feedback on generated copy, and aggregate activity counts. Creator email addresses, subscriber identities, and event guest details stay out of prompts.
