Custom domain setup
Serve your hub from your own address, like hub.yourname.com.
A custom domain lets people reach your hub at your own address instead of seamline.now/@yourhandle. It is included on Spark, Studio and Collective.
- Open Settings and scroll to "Custom domain".
- Enter the address you want to use, such as hub.yourname.com, and save.
- At your domain provider, add the CNAME record Seamline shows you — a setting that points one address at another. For hub.yourname.com, the name is "hub" and the value is seamline.now.
- Wait. Seamline checks for the record automatically and sets up a secure certificate. The panel refreshes itself while you wait.
Your hub only starts answering on the new address once the record is confirmed and the certificate is ready, so visitors never see a broken or insecure page.
