Source tags (UTM parameters)

Add source, medium, and campaign tags to your links so signups are credited correctly.

UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) parameters are small tags added to the end of a link. They tell Seamline where a visitor came from.

  • utm_source — where the link was shared, like reddit or newsletter.
  • utm_medium — the kind of placement, like post, bio, or email.
  • utm_campaign — the push it belongs to, like spring-launch.

For example: seamline.now/@yourhandle?utm_source=bluesky&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=launch

When someone signs up on your hub, the source, medium, and campaign from the address they arrived on are saved with their signup.
